Details

Flowery Range trail is a new trail for the club. The trail rating is only an estimate based on a map review. This is trail 29.5 mi in length and takes us through the eastern-most part of the Virginia Highlands starting at Hwy 439/USA Parkway and ending on Six Mile Canyon Rd about halfway between Virginia City and the Maverik gas station on Hwy 50. We can explore the Lagomarsino Petroglyphs from the east side, park and hike up Rocky Peak for some outstanding views of the area. We should be off the trail around 1 and can grab lunch in VC or Carson City.
